On May 4th, 2013, Dr. Stephen Leatherman, also known as “Dr. Beach”, gave a presentation at the Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton, hosted by The Southampton Association. This video is produced and copyrighted by SEA TV, and has kindly been made available to us.
We are posting the video in advance of tomorrow’s “Alternatives for Protecting Our Dunes and Beaches” presentation, to be delivered at Quogue Village Hall by Dr. Robert Young and hosted by CCQ.
Dr. Leatherman’s talk provides a great starting point to begin learning about the historical and current issues we are facing on East End beaches.
Please note that while the running time of the video is over 82 minutes, Dr. Leatherman’s presentation (minus the Q&A session) runs approximately 37 minutes.
